The more information the new worker has about the organization and what is expected, the more quickly he or she will feel comfortable in the new job. This checklist suggests materials and information that the new employee should receive when the employment agreement has been reached. If possible, these materials should accompany the welcoming letter. In most cases, the human resources department will forward the materials directly to the new worker.
