Time for action – Defining a script to create the Products table

The database table designer comes in very handy when we want to quickly define a new table as a one-time action. However, if we want to redo the same action again and again, then defining a script is better. In this exercise, we will define a SQL DDL script which generates the product table for us.

Note

DDL is the acronym for Data Definition Language or Data Description Language and is a computer language for defining data structures such as tables. Its sister DML, which stands for Data Manipulation Language, is a computer language used to insert, update, and delete data in the database.
