Time for action – Creating a schema for the order entry system

The goal of this exercise is to create a schema that matches the needs of our model to store data. From the preceding exercises, we already have the table Products defined in the OrderingSystem database. So let's add the remaining tables:

  1. Open SSMS and locate the OrderingSystem database in the Object Explorer. Expand the OrderingSystem node such that the Tables folder is visible.
  2. We want to define the Employees table. Right-click on the Tables folder and select New Table…. A new tab opens with the table designer for the new table.
