Time for action – Mapping our domain

It is now time to define the mapping for our domain model. We want to do this by using fluent mappings as provided by Fluent NHibernate.

  1. Start Visual Studio and open the OrderingSystem solution from Chapter 3.
  2. Add references to the assemblies, FluentNHibernate.dll and NHibernate.dll. To do this, right-click on the References node in the Solution Explorer window under the OrderingSystem project and select Add Reference…, as shown in the following screenshot. Navigate to the lib folder where all NHibernate and Fluent NHibernate assemblies are located. Select the two files just mentioned.
