Validating single properties

For simple validations happening at, for example, the presentation layer, we can use validation based on the content of individual properties of an object. There is a project available in the NHibernate Contributions that does just this. This project defines attributes that can be used to decorate the properties of our entities, and it also defines the validation engine, which we can use to validate our entities against the rules we defined by placing those validation attributes on top of the properties.
