SHOOTING MODES
Turn the Mode dial to select the Shooting mode. The choices that offer the most control are P, S, A, and M. (Other Shooting modes are covered below.)
P (Programmed Auto): Camera sets the shutter speed and aperture based on metering info and current ISO.
S (Shutter Speed Priority): You set the shutter speed, and camera sets the aperture based on metering info and current ISO. Shutter speed can be set between 30 sec.–1/4000 sec.
