SHOOTING MODES
Use the Shooting Mode Lever to pick a shooting mode.
P (Programmed Auto): Camera sets shutter speed and aperture based on metering info and current ISO.
S (Shutter Priority): You set shutter speed; camera sets aperture based on metering info and current ISO. Shutter speed can be set between 30 sec. and 1/32000 sec.
A (Aperture Priority): You set aperture; camera sets shutter speed based on metering info and current ISO. Range of apertures depends on the lens.
M (Manual): You set both shutter speed and aperture. Can set shutter speed to Bulb or Time modes for long exposures.
