In Covey’s book The 7 habits of highly effective people, 127 his last habit was what he refers to as ‘sharpening the saw’. I put it as my first behaviour, as if we cannot motivate ourselves towards personal improvement then the rest of the book is a waste of time. I relate it by paraphrasing his story:
