Results show the null hypothesis tested, the probability level, and the deci-
sion or conclusion from the test. A simple frequency chart and statistical
results can be obtained by double clicking on the hypothesis test summary
output. Figure4.11 for the Median test displays the kind of information avail-
able. Additional information for the Mann-Whitney U test is not shown here.
Using both SPSS paths is not a bad idea, especially if one is unsure about the
interpretation of the results (whether to retain or reject the null hypothesis).
Figure4.19 shows the results when using this alternative method.
