GET THEM UP TO SPEED QUICKLY AND TURN THEM INTO KNOWLEDGE WORKERS

I was so psyched on my first day. I came crashing through door like, “I'm here!” They were like, “Oh right, we forgot you were starting today.” The guy who hired me was looking at me like I was from another planet. He had me sit in a conference room, fill out a bunch of forms, and look through some binders. They kept me in that conference room for three weeks. Every time I'd beg a manager, “Put me in, coach” they would respond, “Just sit tight. We're not quite ready for you yet.” They kept telling me, “Relax, we're paying you. It's our time now.” That's where they were wrong. That was my time. They were wasting my time.
