Appendix A ZENworks for Servers 3 Database Schemas

ZENworks for Servers 3 comes with several reports to retrieve information from the inventory database. But those reports may not always give you the information you need exactly how you want it. This Appendix describes the model of the ZENworks for Desktops 4 inventory database and can be used a reference if you want to write your own custom queries for a Sybase, Oracle, or other SQL-compatible database interface. To understand the tables in this chapter, you should be familiar with the Common Information Model (CIM) standard, the Desktop Management Interface (DMI) standard, and Relational Database-Based Managed Systems (RDBMS).
