Distribution of Terms:
Each term (subject and predi-
cate) in the conclusion should be distributed at least once
in the premises. Distribution means that the term refers to
all members of a category, not just some.
Middle Term and Moods & Figures:
The middle term
(the term that connects the major and minor terms) must

Moods specify which types of categorical state-
