The normal biogas composition is given below:
Primarily composed of methane, but typically around
50–70% if compared with Natural Gas.
Contains a higher percentage of carbon dioxide (CO
2
)
than natural gas.
Includes water vapor, hydrogen sulphide (H
2
S), and
traces of other gases.
Produced through anaerobic digestion of organic
matter such as agricultural waste, manure, municipal
waste, plant material, sewage, green waste, or food
waste.
