Personality refers to the organized, consistent and general pattern of behaviour of a person which helps us to understand his or her behaviour as an individual. For detailed understanding, we need to focus on individual behavioural processes like perception, motivation, emotion, etc., but in actual life these processes to not occur independently and individually. There is an integration and organization of these various processes which give a total meaning of the behaviour of a person.
