Abstract

Brain aging is a balance between homeostatic processes and harmful interactions with the environment. Each individual has a unique aging path. Healthy neurological aging requires maintenance of normal brain functioning and prevention of neuronal damage. Diet is a cornerstone of disease prevention and health promotion.
