Script Supervisor Template

Applications

The role of a script supervisor (often known as a scriptee or continuity clerk in Europe) is to monitor what is actually shot during principal photography. Continuity, line readings, and length and quality of each take are all recorded. Notes on hair, make-up, costumes, and props are also kept. The log of the script supervisor forms a critical picture of what actually occurred on the set and is used extensively by the editors to organize the raw footage. The script supervisor position takes an eye for detail and unwavering attention.
