Applications

Sandbags, or more generally any type of dead weight, can be really important for use and safety. As soon as you use sandbags regularly, you’ll find them indispensable on a film set. They are helpful in a multitude of situations:

•  Securing stands C-stands, light stands, and tripods are all stands that are commonly stabilized or held in place using sandbags. The dead weight holds the stand in place and minimizes vibration and possible toppling if the stand is bumped or struck.
