Chapter 6. Row Level Data Transformation

Much of the work we have done so far with SQL has involved construction from scratch. We have examined different SQL clauses and investigated how they can be used together to accomplish a goal. But SQL has an entire class of built-in program units that can be used to greatly simplify our coding. These programs vary between the different implementations of SQL, but many commonalities exist between them.
