Creating Illustrations by Inserting SmartArt Graphics

When you need to create an illustration such as an organization chart, a flow chart, or a Venn diagram, use Office's SmartArt feature. Follow these steps:

1. Position the insertion point or the selection where you want to put the SmartArt object.
2. Choose Insert Illustration SmartArt to display the Choose a SmartArt Graphic dialog box.
3. Choose the category and type of graphic as shown in Figure 4–17, and then click the OK button.
