Customizing the Quick Access Toolbar

The easiest way to start customizing the Office programs is the Quick Access Toolbar, the short row of buttons that appears at the left end of the title bar in the program window, just to the right of the control-menu icon. Figure 6–1 shows the Quick Access Toolbar with just a few buttons.
