Inserting Shapes in Your Documents

To add an illustration to a document, you can insert one or more of Office's shapes by choosing Insert images Illustrations images Shapes, and then working as shown in Figure 4–8.

After inserting a shape, you can resize it by dragging its handles:

  • Drag a square side handle to resize the shape only in one dimension. For example, drag the right side handle to the left to make the shape narrower.
