In this chapter, you learned how to start building a presentation in PowerPoint. We started by creating the presentation file from a template or theme and then customizing it as needed. We then covered how to add slides, put text on them, and rearrange or delete them. After that, we looked at using PowerPoint's four views efficiently and discussed how to create the outline of a presentation. Finally, you learned how to organize a presentation's slides into different sections for convenience.

In the next chapter, I'll show you how to create compelling slides for your presentation by introducing their components one at a time and adding animations as needed.
