Using OneNote with the Other Office Programs

You can quickly share the notes you've taken with the other Office programs. For example, you can export a page or a notebook section to a Word document, or create an e-mail message in Outlook using the content of a notebook page.

Exporting a Page or Section to a Word Document

When you need to get information into Word, you can export either a page or a section of a OneNote notebook to a Word document. You can put the Word document anywhere in your PC's file system.

To export part of a notebook to a Word document, select the page or section, and then work as shown in Figure 18–13.

NOTE: If you choose to export the whole notebook, you can save it as a PDF, a OneNote package, or an XPS file.
