The Outlook modules covered in this chapter — Calendar, People (formerly Contacts), Tasks, and Notes — share a common theme: They're designed to keep you and your stuff well-organized.
You don’t have to use all these modules. Instead, feel free to pick and choose the ones that work for your organizational style. For example, you might rarely use the Notes module, preferring instead to put anything you need to remember on either your Calendar or to-do list (Tasks).
You also don’t need to use every feature in every module. For example, you might not find assigning categories to tasks or events useful — if most of the things you do are short, stand-alone projects with a single deadline, you probably don’t need all the follow-up and due date features offered by Calendar.
