11.10. Who Is the Synchronizer?
At least one member of the workspace must have the following rights in order to instantiate the Groove SharePoint tool:
Rights to access the desired SharePoint document library.
Permission to send and receive changes to the SharePoint library. Typically, this must include the ability to add, edit, and delete items.
Permission within Groove to synchronize with SharePoint. This permission belongs by default to the Manager and Participant roles, but not to the Guest role. Furthermore, participants may not have the ability to delete files other than their own. In this case, Groove displays warnings during synchronization when file deletions fail.
