The drilling operation stage will begin after the drilling platform (ship) is towed to the well site and the anchors dropped in position. This section will introduce all the operating procedures of normal offshore drilling.

There are some preparations before offshore drilling.

Before offshore drilling, we should check the seafloor around 70 m of the wellhead and find out whether there are some barriers obstructing drilling.
