6.2.3. Strength Design for Submarine Pipelines
The technological design above-mentioned has illustrated how to determine the diameter of submarine pipelines; however, it cannot solve other attributes of the pipe (e.g., structure and wall thickness). Thus, the following subsections describe how to determine other attributes by strength design of the pipeline.
6.2.3.1. Structure of Submarine Pipelines
This mainly refers to the cross-section construction type of the submarine pipeline. The cross-sectional structure usually has two main types.
