Transporting Wind Turbines

This chapter provides an analysis of the different methods of transporting and transferring personnel and wind turbines to offshore locations and highlights the most successful operations. Based on previous experience, we have listed several criteria that should be taken into consideration before deciding on the optimum solution for the operation and maintenance (O&M) strategy for a project.
