Chapter 9. Ten Cool Creative (And Practical) Features

Many parts of this book are geared to your brain's left hemisphere — the half that scientists say is engineered to contemplate technical information. This chapter appeals to the other side of your noggin, presenting E-PL1 features designed to stimulate your creative side. You can have fun experimenting with the art filters, merge two images into one, and turn a full-color image into a black-and-white or sepia picture.

Ten Cool Creative (And Practical) Features

So that your left brain doesn't feel totally left out, however, this chapter also includes a couple practical features that I haven't yet covered, including in-camera red-eye removal and an option that lets you annotate a still picture with a voice recording. Additionally, the first section details the JPEG Edit menu, which serves up many of these photo-retouching and creative features.
