I. Development and Strategic Impact of the New World Revolution in Military Affairs
I have always closely followed the new world revolution in military affairs. When the Gulf War broke out in 1991, I suggested that we study the characteristics of modern warfare during the conflict and recommended that the Headquarters of the PLA General Staff and the PLA Academy of Military Sciences both hold research conferences. I attended these conferences and expressed my opinions.
