• Meet with professional movers, even if you plan to do your own move, to gather tips and tricks

• Continue to eliminate whatever you can and get it out of the house ASAP

• Start packing if your move is imminent

Time required: Depends on how close you are to the move. If the move is more than six months away, allow two to three hours for research either on foot, by phone, or on the Internet.
