What Can Your Brand Do on a Social Network?

Create a profile

On many social networking sites, you can have a profile page for your brand that looks similar to an ordinary member profile, including the same basic functionalities, such as:

  • Add this member as a friend

  • Add this member as a favorite

  • Forward this to a friend

  • Leave a comment

  • View a video or photo gallery.

Your brand is seen as a person and interacts with the community like another member. For example, when users add your brand to their friends lists, they might receive a message that says, “Thanks so much for adding me as your friend.”
