VIRUS:

A malicious program. It can illegally and clandestinely embed its copies into other programs.

NETWORK WORM:

A malicious program type. It spreads by itself using various computer resources: email, Web sites, IRC channels, local networks, etc.

TROJAN:

A malicious program. When started, it performs destructive or undesired actions on the computer.

POLYMORPHIC VIRUS:

This virus type modifies its appearance by using encryption methods. Consequently, these viruses contain no constant code blocks at all, which makes it harder for an antivirus program to recognize and remove them.
