How to do it...

Perform the following steps:

  1. Start the OpenDaylight controller using the karaf script and by specifying the -jmx flag. Using the -jmx flag starts the JMX server in the controller.
  2. Start the OpenDaylight distribution using the karaf script. Using this client will give you access to the karaf CLI:
$ ./bin/karaf -jmx

Reinstall the features to pull the dependencies for BGP-PCEP as mentioned in the first recipe.

JConsole can then be used to attach to the JMX server started by the preceding controller to access the runtime beans. The JConsole utility is shipped with JDK by default and can be launched from the Java home directory as follows:

$ $JAVA_HOME/bin/jconsole
