In our sandbox environment, we're running a very basic method of authentication, configured with the
--use_deprecated_auth flag in our
/etc/nova/nova.conf file. This method of authentication is appropriate for testing functionality. To add, remove, and modify accounts using this method of authentication, we use the
nova-manage command directly on our OpenStack Compute host.
