Replication in Trove
Replication is natively available to most of the relational database engines. However, the methods that might be used to replicate data may vary from database engine to database engine. There might be a possibility that more than one method may be available for a database engine.
As we already know, this is also based on the concept of strategies, so let's take a look at the various strategies available for replication.
Replication uses the Trove backup/restore to set up the initial data transfer from the master to the slave. So, if Swift is unavailable or backup is not configured, this feature will not be operational.
