NNM maps often find their way into reports, manuals, posters, training materials, and documentation. These screenshots result in fairly sizeable files (about one megabyte) because most NNM maps display best full-screen (because larger icon bitmaps can be chosen). For large networks, a minimum screen resolution of 1280x1024 is recommended; 1600x1200 is desirable.

Many find that the NNM menu item for printing a map produces a poor black and white presentation. There are no grey scales and color is lost too. Since a printout can’t be included in an electronic report without scanning the paper, you need other methods ...
