On a good day, the network behaves as intended. All router and switch interfaces are operational, no server is down, printers have a full supply of paper and toner, no configuration errors exist anywhere, no new devices have been detected, every network link is operating well below maximum capacity, and there are zero data errors detected. No events occur. The Internet submap is green as a Northwestern forest. Adrenalin levels at the NOCC are very low. They would be lower except that the NOCC staff knows that bad days follow good ones as surely as rain falls in the Northwest.
