A Local Vehicle Manufacturer

The local vehicle manufacturer is located within one state and has six manufacturing plants, one data center, and a corporate office. NNM is used to manage the network infrastructure and critical servers at each site. You configure a DNS server on the single NNM system, a small UNIX workstation.

The IT group and the help desk use the system, so only two maps are needed. The help desk uses a read-only map. NNM polls the mission-critical servers and core routers every minute, instead of the five-minute default.
