D/A and A/D Converters
The digital to analog converter is an important tool in digital signal processing systems and function circuits. It involves the conversion of digital information into analog information. DACs operate as a decoding device at the output of a digital system. DACs are mostly used in A/D converters. DACs are used in cathode ray display systems, voice synthesizers, automatic test systems, process control actuators and computers. DAC performs serial or parallel forms of operations.
