9.4.8.1  Amplication
 in the L-Band
We
compared the L-band signal with the C-band signal and tabulated the values in Table
9.10, and the gain is plotted over the C- and L-bands in Figures 9.37 and 9.38.
The
pump power is varied, and the EDFA gain in the L-band is plotted in Figures 9.39
and 9.40 with the parameters of the amplier given in Table 9.11.
