Networking in the virtual world is a bit different than we are used to, but it's not that hard to get your arms around it. Networking with any of the hypervisors can be done, and with good performance, if you understand each of their unique ways of doing it. This chapter taught you how to understand their networking idiosyncrasies and gave you some performance tips. Similarly, hypervisors handle virtual storage differently. In the next chapter, we discuss virtual storage optimization.
