Oracle API Manager overview
Introduction
Oracle API Manager facilitates and streamlines the API Management lifecycle by providing the following capabilities:
- Allows users to easily manage OSB proxy services as APIs
- Generation and management of API keys
- API metadata management
- API publishing, retirement, and deprecation
- API discovery
- API subscription management
- API runtime monitoring and analytics
Note
API Manager is not a development tool, an IDE, or a runtime platform in itself. In short, it is a runtime-governance tool that delivers API lifecycle management capabilities.
