TOUSER = (username[, username ...])
Specifies a list of users whose schemas will be the target of
the import. If multiple users are specified, the names must
be paired with names in a corresponding FROMUSER
parameter, such as:
FROMUSER=(tom,dick) TOUSER=(harry,dave)
TTS_OWNERS = (ownername[, ownername ...])
Specifies the owners of an imported transportable
tablespace.
Data Pump Export and Import
The Data Pump Export and Import utilities were introduced
with Oracle Database 10g Release 1. They have similar func-
tionality and a similar look and feel to the original EXP and
IMP utilities. However, files created by Data Pump Export
are not compatible with files created by EXP; consequently,
files created by EXP cannot be imported with Data Pump
Import. Moreover, Oracle Database 10g features are fully
supported only by Data Pump. For this reason—and because
Data Pump provides improved performance—I recommend
that you use the new Data Pump utilities if you are running
Oracle Database10g.
Data Pump features
Data Pump Export and Import provide a variety of new
backup and recovery features:
• You can specify the maximum number of threads of active
execution operating on behalf of the Data Pump job,
which allows the DBA to adjust resource consumption
versus elapsed time. Note that this feature is available only
with the Enterprise Edition for Oracle Database 10g.
• You can restart Data Pump ...
