Storage Reconfiguration

An Exadata system, by default, pre-allocates the bulk of the physical storage between the +DATA_MYEXA1 and +RECO_MYEXA1 disk groups and does so using an 80/20 split. During the preinstallation phase of purchase, Oracle supplies a worksheet to the DBAs, the network administrators, and the system administrators. Each group supplies information for the configuration process, with the DBAs and the network admins providing the bulk of that data.
