The Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM) is the product that acts as the cornerstone for all Oracle Fusion Middleware virtualization capabilities. The core component of OVM consists of a hypervisor that is installed on a physical machine instead of a platform operating system. The hypervisor is the runtime environment for virtual machine instances.
