FUNCTION UTL_HTTP.REQUEST (url IN VARCHAR2, proxy IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL [,wallet_path IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL]# [,wallet_password IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL]#) RETURN VARCHAR2;

Returns the first 2000 bytes of url through optional proxy, which was new with Oracle8i. Can include the wallet_path and wallet_password parameters, both new with Oracle9i.

Returns max_pieces of 2000 bytes of url through optional proxy. Can include the wallet_path and wallet_password parameters, both new with Oracle9i.
