DOM named node map methods

FUNCTION DBMS_XMLDOM.getNamedItem (nnm DOMNamedNodeMap, name IN VARCHAR2) RETURN DOMNode;

Retrieves a node DOMNode from nnm by name.

FUNCTION DBMS_XMLDOM.setNamedItem (nnm DOMNamedNodeMap, arg IN VARCHAR2) RETURN DOMNode;

Adds a node to nnm by using its NodeName arg.

FUNCTION DBMS_XMLDOM.removeNamedItem (nnm DOMNamedNodeMap, name IN VARCHAR2) RETURN DOMNode;

Remove a node name from nnm.

FUNCTION DBMS_XMLDOM.item (nnm DOMNamedNodeMap, index IN NUMBER) RETURN DOMNode;

Returns the item in nnm indicated by the index. If index is greater than or equal to the number of nodes in the map, returns NULL.

FUNCTION DBMS_XMLDOM.getLength (nnm DOMNamedNodeMap, RETURN NUMBER;

Returns the number of items in nnm.
