Specifies addresses and domains for Names servers in other regions that can be contacted to resolve net service names that fall in those regions.

Parameters

name

The fully qualified name of the Names server. For example: ns1.gennick.org.

address_data

The address on which the Names server is listening. See NAMES.ADDRESSES for details on this parameter.

domain

The domain that the Names servers in the hint list can resolve. For example: gennick.org.
