R 12 made a significant change in the supplier model, adding it to the Trading Community Architecture (TCA), where Customers already existed. This results not only in new windows for tracking supplier information, but also in a new set of underlying tables to store all the supplier information and added functionality. Since customers and suppliers now share the same TCA structures, parties created for one can be utilized by the other, allowing payables and receivables for the same party to be recognized with EBS’s new E-Business Tax module.
